The Last Resort

This is my love letter to books and reading.

In this fine art photography series, the figure wanders through surreal, dreamlike worlds, lost in the quiet magic of pages. Books are my sanctuary, my wings to anywhere my imagination can take me, and an endless wellspring of inspiration. This series was born from my love for Tomihiko Morimi’s novel Tropical. That book, with its whimsical tale of a devoted reader, sparked this creation. Books ignite my imagination when it falters, soothe my restless mind, and offer gentle comfort in moments of fear.

Each time I open a book, I step into a secret, fantastical world—and a new adventure quietly begins.
