Two VS. Three

Updated: Feb 26

Ten years ago, I discovered Edward Hopper’s art by chance. His work has a way of turning the ordinary into "amber"—preserving the stillness of American life in a way that is both lonely and beautiful.

This project is a modern reconstruction of his classics. By keeping the backgrounds identical, I wanted to highlight the shift in our internal lives. In the "World of Two," there is freedom and quiet, but also solitude. In the "World of Three," new happiness arrives alongside new burdens. Rather than judging one against the other, these pieces serve as an objective window into our reality—nostalgic, yet ever-evolving.
